Job Title: Food Prepper/Cook
Job Description
We're working with a respected healthcare facility in Gardner, KS to find a reliable and motivatedFood Prepper/Cook. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is comfortable with both food preparation and general labor tasks.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with accuracy and efficiency.
Unload deliveries and stock kitchen supplies (primarily on Fridays).
Follow simple recipes and manage kitchen operations during weekend shifts.
Lead and guide a team to stay on task.
Support weekly meal prep and assist the cook on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Perform cleaning duties, dishwashing, and general kitchen maintenance.
Participate in assembly line food service and inventory tasks.
Essential Skills
Prior experience in food prep and cooking across multiple meal periods.
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Strong organizational skills for inventory and stocking.
Comfortable with general labor tasks such as unloading and cleaning.
Additional Skills Qualifications
Experience working in a hospital environment is a plus.
Ability to work in a climate-controlled setting.
Familiarity with assembly line food serving is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
