Job Summary: Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning:
Thoroughly cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
Cleaning common areas like hallways, lobbies, and fitness centers.
Emptying trash and recycling bins.
Restocking:
Replacing linens and towels in guest rooms.
Restocking amenities like toiletries, toilet paper, and soap.
Ensuring guest rooms are fully stocked with necessary supplies.
Maintenance:
Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate staff.
Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.
Customer Service:
Responding to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
Providing excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
Assisting guests with special requests, such as extra towels or amenities.
Laundry:
Assisting with laundry and linen services as needed.
Collaboration:
Working with other housekeeping staff to complete daily cleaning schedules.
Collaborating with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations.
Additional Notes:
Hotel housekeepers often work in teams and may be assigned specific sections or rooms to clean.
The number of rooms cleaned per shift can vary depending on guest turnover.
Housekeepers need to be physically able to perform the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
