About the Role

We are seeking passionate and customer-oriented professionals to join our Front of House (FOH) Team to promote smooth service operations and an exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong teamwork, communication, and a commitment to maintaining Cuernos high standards of excellence.

Positions Available: Server, Bartender, Host, Sommelier, Busser, Runner, Barback

Key Responsibilities

Server:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service with attentiveness to guest needs .
  • Offer detailed explanations of menu items and ingredients.
  • Provide tailored r ecommend ations of dishes and pairings to enhance the dining experience .

Bartender:

  • Prepare beverages while engaging with guests and providing tailored recommendations.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible service procedures.
  • Maintain bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure a clean, organized bar.

Host:

  • Greet guests w armly to creat e a welcoming first impression .
  • Manage the reservation process and efficiently assign tables .
  • Maintain the waitlist and provide accurate wait time estimate s .

Sommelier:

  • Provide wine recommendations based on guest preferences to enhance the dining experience .
  • Guide staff on wine selection , pairings, and proper service techniques .
  • Oversee wine storage, inventory, and procurement to maintain quality and selection .
  • Knowledge of Mexican wines preferred.

Busser:

  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring tables are set up and ready for guests.
  • Keep service st ations clean, organized, and fully stocked .
  • Ensure tables, chairs, floors, and communal spaces are always clean and tidy .

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years previous restaurant experience in a similar role.
  • Prior fine dining experience preferred .
  • Proficiency in Toast POS system .
  • Strong understanding of restaurant etiquette and sequence of service .
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including allergy protocols .
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills .
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment .
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays .

Compensation: Hourly ($16.50) plus tips
