Job Description:
The Custodian holds a general responsibility for facility cleaning of non-aseptic areas, to include (but not limited to) offices, labs, front lobby, conference rooms, hallways, on-site and off-site warehouses, and the lunchroom. Work will include routine and special requests by management.
Two levels are established for the Custodians, Day Porter and Equipment Operator.
Waste disposal, floor cleaning (carpet, vinyl, VHT, concrete, epoxy), dusting, wiping, cleaning of restrooms.
Operate related cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops, floor polishers, floor scrubbers, carpet shampooer, etc.)
Understand the proper use of equipment, cleaning chemicals and documentation, which are required in accordance with cGMPs.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Valid driver's license required
2 to 5 year(s) related experience desired
Limited / Elementary Vocational required
Mechanical Aptitude desired
The ability to read and understand cleaning substances, tools and equipment operation instructions required
The custodian is required be able to meet the departmental and personnel goals and ensure that job activities are clearly communicated and documented
20/30 corrected near sited required
Ability to lift [ 60 ] pounds unassisted required
Exposure to Allergens required
Working in Confined Spaces, twisting, pushing and pulling required
Shift:Wednesday-Saturday 7pm-530am.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.
Hiring Wage: $18.86 hr. depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role
Shift Differential-is$2.50 per hour.
