Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Circuit Board Inspector to join our quality control team. The Circuit Board Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring that our electronic products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for spotting defects, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of electronic components and assembly processes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough visual inspections of assembled circuit boards to identify defects, irregularities, and deviations from quality standards.
Utilize various inspection tools such as magnifiers, microscopes, and measuring instruments to perform in-depth assessments of components and solder joints.
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions to accurately assess the quality of circuit board assemblies.
Collaborate with the production team to address any identified defects or issues, providing clear feedback and guidance for corrective actions.
Maintain detailed records of inspection findings, documenting defects, trends, and any patterns observed.
Perform functional tests on circuit boards using specialized equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Monitor and enforce adherence to established quality control processes and guidelines.
Participate in root cause analysis of defects and contribute to process improvement initiatives to prevent recurrence.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to discuss inspection results, concerns, and recommendations.
Assist in training new assemblers and other inspectors on quality control procedures and standards.
Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements related to circuit board assembly and inspection.
