Housekeeper - Hiring All Shifts Job Description Join the housekeeping department at a large hospital facility in Washington, DC, where you will primarily provide cleaning support to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the hospital. Responsibilities Provide cleaning support for various areas within the hospital, including hallways, bathrooms, offices, discharge rooms, and common areas. Change linens, dust, sanitize, sweep, mop, and perform trash removal. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain effective communication with staff and patients. Adapt to the dynamic needs of the team and fulfill any additional tasks required. Essential Skills 1+ years of housekeeping or janitorial experience. Customer service experience. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with coworkers. Additional Skills & Qualifications Floor technician experience is preferred but not mandatory. Why Work Here? Work Environment Thee are openings on first, second, and third shift with off days every other weekend. The fast-paced environment requires the ability to clean each room within 30-45 minutes, with specific goals set for hallway maintenance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
