Take food and beverage orders from guests. Promptly and accurately relay food and beverage orders to Sports Bar bartenders and kitchen staff as appropriate. Engage in suggestive sales as appropriate. Assume responsibility for assigned section for entirety of shift. Utilize proper tray service (i.e. trays balanced on change hand, carried above shoulder level and used with tray jack). Maintain familiarity with service procedures, menus and seating chart. Accurately and efficiently accept payment and make change during transactions. Utilize proper cash handling and control procedures. Operate POS terminal. Perform housekeeping duties in dining room and service areas, ensuring that all areas are clean and sanitized. Engage in light food preparation as needed. Perform daily side work as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working with the public required. Previous wait staff experience strongly preferred.
