Job Details Woman owned and operated since 2015, Otway located in Clinton Hill has been a neighborhood destination for both dinner and brunch, and is known for their natural wine. We are looking to add some passionate and enthusiastic individuals to our daytime and dinner crews!We are seeking out talented servers with barista experience to be part of our diverse and enthusiastic team and work in a restaurant that cultivates a healthy, safe, and inclusive culture.
We are hiring for both part time and full time, daytime only positions. Weekend days required.
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years of NYC restaurant experience working in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant, bar, or equivalent
- be passionate about hospitality & food!
-knowledge of coffee/ barista experience highly preferred
- basic to intermediate understanding of classic cocktails and spirits
- experience using POS Systems such as Toast, Micros, Aloha, Squirrel, Salido, PosiTouch (or similar)
- exposure to Resy or OpenTable
- must be punctual and reliable
- be able to multi-task and handle high volume of orders
- must be able to work well in a small team and put in best effort to drive that team to success
- must be able to bend, stretch, and stand on feet for long periods of time Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($11.00 - $15.00) plus tips
