Opening in early October, we are hiring all positions, to start mid-September.Position: Line Cook, Full- and Part-Time
Were looking for experienced and inspired full- and part-time Line Cooks to join our team, working with our Sous Chef and Chef-Owner. As a Line Cook, you will help bring Joylarks culinary vision to life, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence and brings happiness to our guests. This is a unique opportunity for a culinary professional who wants to grow their career in a new direction.What We Offer

- Assisting with inventory management and cost control.
- Assist other areas of the kitchen, with opportunities to explore Front of House.
- 2+ years in a similar position in upscale (or up-casual) kitchen environments
- Flexibility to work in all areas of the kitchen
- Experience in vegan or plant-based cuisine is highly preferred, but curiosity and the willingness and ability to learn is paramount.
- Formal culinary training or equivalent professional experience with strong knowledge of classical cooking techniques.
- Abilities to work under pressure, and to make the most of less busy times
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- ServSafe certification preferred
- A professional, happy attitude and demeanor, and ability to get along well with others
- At least 18 years of age.
