We're seeking qualified candidates to fill the Assistant Maintenance Engineer positions at Hampton Inn Tunnel Road. Start a job that could evolve into a fulfilling career while making guest experiences unforgettable.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Chief Engineer with daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and other necessary tasks.

Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back up the house.

Keep all equipment in top-notch condition, clean, and fully functional.

Maintain a comprehensive record of all repairs.

Swiftly respond to and complete minor repair work orders as they arise.

Uphold company and departmental safety and security protocols to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.

Attend to guests' service needs professionally, positively, and promptly.

Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure excellent coverage and rapid guest service.

Adhere to quality assurance standards and expectations.

Report any missing hotel property or damages to the department manager.

Accomplish other miscellaneous tasks as requested by the department manager.

Job Requirements:

At least 6 months of prior maintenance experience.

Customer service experience is required, with preference given to those with hotel or related customer-facing experience.

Ability to bend, stoop, and lift as needed.

Reliable availability, including weekends and holidays.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for guest interactions.

Quick learning and adeptness in a fast-paced role with constant guest engagement.

Strong multitasking abilities.

Minimum age requirement: 18 years or older.

Must have a valid Driver's License!
