Breakfast Cook - Hotel Restaurant

The Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center in Pewaukee is seeking an experienced culinary professional to cook for the restaurant and room-service in our large, professional kitchen. Assist with high-volume banquet prep - chef's tables, conferences, wine dinners & up to 100 weddings/year.

Full time 6am-2pm, including weekends. Restaurant experience required.

Wage $20/hr + full benefit package: health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k with company match + fun perks like discounted admission to our Springs Water Park.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare food efficiently and timely for guests.

• Communicate effectively with the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef.

• Follow predetermined instruction regarding recipes and quantities.

• Have a basic knowledge of food cost control.

• Comply with all food handling and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant cooking experience, education and/or culinary training is required

• Food knowledge regarding pantry, soups, saute and broiler preferred

• Must have manual dexterity for knife handling, sauteing, and equipment usage

• Excellent food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to operate a variety of commercial cooking equipment
