About the Role

As a Custodian at Barber Park Event Center and Gateway Gardens, your role is crucial in maintaining cleanliness and readiness for all events and daily operations. Duties include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, lobbies, meeting rooms, and food prep areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning.
• Assisting with event setup and breakdown (tables, chairs, etc.).
• Requisitioning cleaning supplies and maintaining equipment.

Work Hours: Shifts may vary between 5 am to as late as 1 am mainly weekends early morning and late evenings.

This position is Non-Exempt under FLSA policy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License ("OR" Reliable means of transportation)
• 1 year of related experience in housekeeping
• Prior experience operating janitorial equipment

An Ideal Candidate Would Also Possess (Preferred Qualifications):

• Previous work-related experience in a large commercial/building environment
• Customer Service experience
• Basic computer skills
• Experience operating floor care machines/scrubbers
• Experience with event setup and breakdown
