JOB SUMMARY

Provide custodial services at Goodwill's corporate headquarters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform basic custodial duties in an efficient and effective manner.
• Provide timely and excellent customer service.
• Provide input regarding inventory needs.
• Ensure Safety Data Sheets are available for all cleaning chemicals.
• Observe proper safety precautions in use of equipment and supplies to include proper labeling of all chemicals.
• Operate janitorial equipment such as automatic scrubber, burnisher and carpet extractor.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Ability to provide coverage for other Custodial Staff at other Goodwill locations.
• Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position.
• Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants.
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of custodial experience preferred

None

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Must be a self-starter in performing custodial services
• Must be able to work with mild cleaning chemicals, utilizing proper personal protective equipment in a safe manner

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Medium

• Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Moderate

• Occasionally exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise fumes, dust, etc.)
