General Maintenance Engineer, Temporary

This position is temporary, and the hourly rate of pay is $23.00

A General Maintenance will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.

• 12 years of general maintenance experience preferred (hotel experience a plus).

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in confined spaces.

• Flexible schedule\: available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
