The hourly rate for this position is $16.50.

Event servers are responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. They make sure function space visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event. This includes linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service, setting up and breaking down events, including electronics. Other duties include general banquet preparation; room refreshes and maintaining a sanitary environment.

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.

• Previous banquet, catering, or food service experience preferred but not required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.

• Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for prolonged periods.
