Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: Starting pay rate of $17.66, actual wage adjusted based on experience
Benefits: Part-time on-call position
Job Summary:
Brewfest is one of Killington's most distinctive annual celebrations. This event will once again be returning to the Pico Mountain Base Area, Saturday, September 20th. Join us to learn about and pour the best craft beers, ciders, and seltzers while enjoying the Vermont mountain views.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Assist in the operation of our Brewfest Event by pouring samples for guests and answering questions regarding the beverage
Work with barbacks to ensure beer is cold and stocked
Learn about the beer you are pouring
Open cans and pour into patron's sample glasses
Maintain compliance with responsible serving guidelines for all guests
Assist with breakdown and cleanup of area as needed
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Current DLC 1st class certificate or ability to pass certification test day of
Able to stand for long periods
Able to lift 30lbs
Able to work outside, rain or shine
Must be 18 or older
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Be friendly and polite
Strong customer service and communication skills
Knowledge or willingness to learn about various craft beers, ciders, and seltzers
Ability to follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and DLC regulations
