The iconic Vinoy Resort and Golf Club , in partnership with award-winning Chef Lee Wolen of Boka Restaurant Group , is seeking Barbacks to join the team at Elliott Aster , our modern steakhouse.

About Elliott Aster Elliott Aster offers refined dinners in a beautiful dining room and a lively waterfront patio for aperitivos and cocktails. Chef Lee Wolens menu features handmade pasta, pristine seafood, and wood-grilled steaks, with a focus on warm, thoughtful hospitality.

Barbacks Responsibilities

  • Support bartenders by keeping the bar fully stocked, clean, and organized throughout service

  • Restock spirits, wine, beer, ice, and glassware as needed

  • Assist in preparation of garnishes, syrups, and mixers before and during service

  • Maintain cleanliness of bar equipment, tools, and surrounding areas

  • Ensure dirty glassware is removed, cleaned, and polished promptly

  • Assist bartenders in maintaining a smooth and efficient service flow

  • Handle allergies and dietary restrictions with attentiveness and clear communication

  • Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as assigned

  • Consistently follow all sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Weekend availability (FridaySunday) required

  • 1+ year of barback or restaurant support experience preferred

  • Strong work ethic and reliability in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-oriented, organized, and detail-focused

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

  • Stand and walk for an entire shift, moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces

  • Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals

  • Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
