Job Description

As a bartender, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our guests' experience by providing exceptional service and crafting delicious beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

Prepare and Serve Beverages: Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel recipes and guest preferences.

Customer Service: Provide attentive and friendly service to guests at the bar and in the hotel lounge area.

Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the beverage menu, including specials and promotions.

Upselling: Recommend and upsell drinks and additional services to enhance guest satisfaction.

Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tools and equipment.

Compliance: Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and hotel policies.

Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring beverage inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Cash Handling: Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.

Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

A Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment preferred.

Strong knowledge of beverage mixing techniques and recipes.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with diverse clientele.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Mobility to move quickly between tasks and around the bar area.

Attention to detail and cleanliness.

Must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Certification in TABC and Texas Food Handlers.
