The iconic Vinoy Resort and Golf Club , in partnership with award-winning Chef Lee Wolen of Boka Restaurant Group , is seeking Hosts to join the team at Elliott Aster , our modern steakhouse.

About Elliott Aster Elliott Aster offers refined dinners in a beautiful dining room and a lively waterfront patio for aperitivos and cocktails. Chef Lee Wolens menu features handmade pasta, pristine seafood, and wood-grilled steaks, with a focus on warm, thoughtful hospitality.

Host's Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests with warmth and professionalism

• Manage reservations and seating to ensure smooth service flow

• Communicate wait times, menu counts, and guest notes

• Maintain an organized host stand and entry area

• Answer phones, handle emails, and process to-go orders accurately

• Support the team by completing shift duties and following sanitation standards

Qualifications

• Weekend availability (Friday - Sunday) required

• 1+ year of restaurant experience preferred, ideally in fine dining

• Warm, attentive, and highly organized

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
• Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
• Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
