Maintenance Worker

Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa is under new management lookingfor skilled and enthusiastic Maintenance Team Members to join our professional family.

Our Maintenance workers will have a supportive training process and will gain valuable experience on the job or bring your skills to us! This person will perform routine property and equipment repairs, as well as attend property maintenance tasks on an ongoing basis.

Our maintenance team members will also participate in maintaining the grounds, landscaping, preventative maintenance and assisting in ensuring the safety of guests and associates in compliance with all corporate standards, as well as federal, state and local laws.

We are looking for a team member with some mechanical background. A working knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, pumps & motors would be helpful. However, we are willing to train the right individual.

We are located on 29 acres in Stowe Vermont. We have 32 townhouses, a 120 room inn and a Spa with a salon, sports club, 7 bodies of water and 26 treatment rooms.

We currently need 5 days a week 1pm to 9pm, however we can discuss options.

Responsibilities:
Communicate with guests and resort staff to resolve maintenance issues
Anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible

Requirements:
Prior experience as a Maintenance Worker in hotel, hospital, or apartment environment a plus
HVAC, plumbing, boiler operations, and general maintenance skills helpful
Ability to bend, squat and lift up to 75 pounds regularly
Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period
Manual dexterity skills to use and operate all necessary equipment
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated
A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
