We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist Physical Therapy & MRI Scheduler to join our growing healthcare team. This role is key to creating a positive first impression for our patients while ensuring seamless scheduling of Physical Therapy and MRI appointments.

Reports To: Front Desk Manager
Schedule/Type: Full-Time, Hourly Monday to Friday
Wage: $18.00$26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

What Youll Do:
- Greet and interact with patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Coordinate and schedule Physical Therapy and MRI appointments
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
- Communicate appointment details, including MRI preparation instructions
- Obtain pre-authorizations and verify insurance benefits
- Collect co-pays, pre-payments, and payments on balances due
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Assist with other front desk duties as needed
- Adhere to HIPAA policies and clinic safety protocols
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year experience in medical scheduling preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology
- Strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills
- Ability to calmly and professionally manage difficult situations with patients or callers
Work Environment:
- Well-lit medical office reception area
- Exposure to clinic-related conditions; adherence to safety protocols required
- Sedentary work with some lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, and twisting
Equipment Used:
- Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
