About the Role
As a Kitchen Cleaner, youll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment that meets all health and safety regulations. Typical duties include:
Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, appliances, sinks, walls, floors, and fixtures
Sweeping and mopping using appropriate cleaning products
Washing kitchen mats and helping with trash, recycling, and food waste removal
Monitoring cleaning supply levels and restocking as needed
Reporting maintenance issues or hazards to management
Following all food safety and sanitation standards
Assisting with dishwashing or general cleaning tasks as needed
Qualifications
Able to stand and walk for extended periods (712 hours depending on shift length)
Able to lift 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hot, and humid environment
Prior kitchen or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required
