Groundskeeper(Long-Term Substitute) Start Date: September 1, 2025Responsibilities include:Performs a range of maintenance work in the preparation and preservation of MPS athletic fields and surrounding district propertyMarks and lines areas for practice and competitions; uses appropriate marking materials to delineate areas of play and comply with league rulesoGrade and water infields and build mountsAerates and irrigates field areas; operates and maintains irrigation systems to assure safe operationAssists in setting up equipment and facilities for special eventsOperates and maintains equipment such as mowers, edgers, pruners, blowers, forklifts, tractors, trucks, line marking machines as requiredMaintains lawns, plants, and trees by mowing, planting, raking, pruning, and watering as necessaryWaters lawns and plants as necessaryPerforms additional maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Director

Job Requirements
