Substitute Cafeteria Worker Pool
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Prepare quality, nutritious food items as directed by the School Cafeteria Manager.
Serve food items according to the portion size to meet the necessary age group requirements.
Operate equipment in a safe, proper, and efficient manner.
Maintain the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in the kitchen. To clean all kitchen equipment, wash and sterilize dishes, silverware, and utensils as assigned to proper sanitation procedures.
Follow all Health Department rules and regulations.
Observe safety rules and regulations
Immediately report all accidents to the School Cafeteria Manager.
Immediately report any product quality or operational problem to the School Cafeteria Manager.
Perform other duties as assigned by the School Cafeteria Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Exception: Food Service Director may consider an alternate qualification.
Works well with people, especially children, and maintains a pleasant and positive work attitude. Also, must be able to work well with fellow workers.
Follows proper food sanitation and cleanliness procedures.
