Your Expertise:

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems.
  • Basic construction/building skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of plant and machine safety
  • Some basic computer skills.
  • Ability to operate custodial operation-related equipment and use applicable chemicals, supplies, hand and power tools
  • Ability to understand written and verbal communications

Your Challenge:

  • Perform chip removal and coolant changes from machines.
  • Check coolant and document as needed; add or change, and/or PM coolant as needed.
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; perform routine preventative maintenance as required.
  • Assist in basic machine maintenance tasks under the supervision of the maintenance lead.
  • Perform basic facilities maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Control revert containers, monitor revert to ensure correct weight.
  • Assist in organization and inventory control of the reclaimed process.
  • Promote workplace safety, environmental practices, and wasted reduction opportunities.
  • Perform daily other duties as required which can include but not limited to, sweeping, floor scrubbing, mopping, and trash removal.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
