Part-Time Barista at Swordplay Themed Board Games Cafe

Join the team at Cafe Duello! We're more than just a cafe; we're a hotspot in downtown Vancouver for coffee lovers, swordplay enthusiasts, and fans of board games, right in the bustling Academie Duello Centre for Swordplay.

Who You Are:

- A skilled barista able to craft a perfect cup and specialty espresso drinks
- A community-minded person who likes to connect people
- An excellent communicator with the ability to engage authentically, positively, and respectfully with customers and staff, even during times of conflict
- A detail-oriented proactive multitasker

What You'll Do:

- Brew and serve top-notch espresso drinks, food items
- Maintain an organized and clean space
- Verbally promote for our events to customers
- Handle cafe shift duties, from counter service and inventory checking, to checkout and housekeeping
- Help execute community events with our team

Need to Have:

- A flexible schedule for late afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays (and very occasional Sundays)
- Event coordination experience a big plus
