Rooms Porter

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time or part-time Porter to join our team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As a Porter, you will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties around the hotel, both inside and out.

• Proximity to outdoor attractions, including Yosemite National Park, Bass Lake, and Sierra National Forest

• Assist in the employee housing area with cleaning and laundry duties
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts
• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
• Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and distribute all recyclables into proper containers
• Report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
• Operate company vehicles for transportation across the property as needed

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in housekeeping preferred

• A valid drivers license

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
• Ability to pull heavy carts of stock
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform other ranges of motion for an extended time
