This role involves managing check-in and check-out procedures, assisting guests with inquiries and concerns, and providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions. The Front Desk Agent will work closely with guests to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience while maintaining front desk operations and adhering to safety protocols. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner. Check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location efficiently and accurately. Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in in line with local legislative requirements. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner. Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner. Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Always follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures. Immediately report any health and safety incident, security breaches, concerns or suspicious behavior to the supervisor or manager on duty Desired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or front desk role preferred. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Strong customer service and guest relations skills Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
