Description: Actors Fund Home , an assisted living, skilled nursing, accredited dementia care and sub acute rehabilitation center located in Englewood, NJ, and a recipient of a CMS Five Star Rating, seeks a Full- Time Housekeeper for the 11:30am-8:00pm shift. #li-dni JOB DUTIES + Clean resident rooms including bathrooms and floors on a daily basis + Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including common areas, nursing station areas, lounges, stairways and offices + Empty trash and restock housekeeping supplies as needed + Assist with laundry department + Perform other housekeeping functions as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS + High school diploma or equivalency certificate required + Ability to understand and communicate in English required + Prior housekeeping experience preferred + Must be able to work with all cleaning equipment as well as laundry and cleaning chemicals + Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry supplies up to 25 pounds OTHER QUALIFICATIONS + Flexibility with schedule and assignments + Must be adaptable to change and able to deal with crisis and emergencies ABOUT THIS POSITION This is a hourly position (40hrs) based at The Actors Fund Home in Englewood, NJ. The shift requirements for this position are 11:30am-8:00pm and availability for every other weekend. You will be expected to cover assigned shifts, including holidays, and should be available to cover vacations/call outs on occasion. This position is covered by the SEIU 1199 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
