Job Description
Provides direction and coordination for maintenance and custodial services to maintain a prescribed level of cleanliness and function to assigned areas.
Provides oversight and coordinates efforts to ensure an expedient response for issues that arise during weekends or during off hours. Coordinates with Ohio
Union Building Manager to support building operations and events; works with other university departments to ensure compliance and safety of exterior
amenities. This position will specialize in project work consisting of quality assurance, process improvement, and data collection and review; responsible for
a variety of other day-to-day cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed. Supervises and coordinates activities of contractors and university business partners.

Hands on responsibilities include installs, repairs, replaces, and maintains building structure, plumbing and electrical equipment, building envelope, floors,
and furniture. Will be expected to respond to housekeeping and maintenance requests, monitors and facilitates trash removal needs, inspects buildings,
grounds, and equipment. Supports Campus Dining equipment, upon request; attends departmental functions and needed training; may operate departmental
vehicles.

The schedule for this position is 11:00 pm - 11:00 am with a rotating schedule that includes working Thursday - Tuesday every other week, including any holidays that fall within the scheduled rotation.

Requirements
Required: High school diploma or GED; 4 years of previous maintenance experience; must be able to push/pull 70 pounds, climb ladders, and distinguish colors.
Desired: 6 years of relevant work experience; maintenance certifications, familiarity with OSU facilities, 3-5 years of leadership experience

Compensation

The targeted hiring range for this position is $24.76 - $32.33 based on experience. This position is eligible for evening and weekend shift preimiums as applicable.
