Position Details : The successful candidate will be a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with a strong background in restaurant-based food safety, allergen management, and wellness programming. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement and ensuring consistent execution of food safety and wellness initiatives in partnership with chefs, operators, and client stakeholders.

Salary: $90,000- $102,000 per year

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and credentialed Food Safety & Wellness Manager to lead and support comprehensive wellness, allergen labeling, food safety, quality assurance, and audit compliance across multiple office dining operations for a premier tech client. This role will ensure food served across five major U.S. cities is safe, inclusive, high-quality, and aligned with the clients vision of innovation, integrity, and well-being.

Responsibilies:

Food Safety & Quality Assurance
Lead site-level execution of food safety programs in alignment with corporate standards and SOPs and client expectations.
Conduct regular audits of food handling, sanitation practices, and storage to ensure regulatory compliance and internal SOPs.
Develop corrective action plans and follow through on implementation and staff training.
Serve as the key point of contact for food safety incidents and resolution.

Allergen Labeling & Risk Management
Lead site-level execution of a robust allergen control and labeling system across all service points in alignment with corporate standards and SOPs and client expectations.
Train culinary and front-of-house teams on allergen all aspects of allergen management including cross-contact prevention.
Ensure accurate communication of allergen and ingredient information through digital and physical labeling platforms.
Serve as SME for proprietary menu management software and assist in coordination of how information transfers to the client-owned menu platform.

Wellness Programming
Support the execution of wellness-forward food and beverage offerings aligned with client goals and employee needs.
Collaborate with chefs and marketing teams to promote educational wellness campaigns, healthy eating initiatives, and nutrient transparency.
Act as a subject matter expert in nutrition and wellness at site-level meetings, employee events, and client presentations.

Training & Team Support
Develop and deliver training sessions on food safety, allergens, and wellness for culinary and service teams.
Mentor unit-level food safety captains and/or allergen champions.

Maintain Corporate Connections
Actively participate in meetings and/or projects with the corporate food safety and wellness teams as assigned.
Maintain close collaboration with corporate food safety and wellness teams to ensure alignment with standards and SOPs.

Customer Service
Represents company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions
Reviews and responds to all customer comments within 24 hours of submission. and relays relevant comments from customers directly to the management team.

Performs any duties assigned by the Nutrition Director and/or RVP.

Qualifications
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required.
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable required.
  • General hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in foodservice, culinary nutrition, or food safety within high-volume, multi-unit environments.
  • Serve-Safe Manager certification required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse teams and time zones
  • Experience working with tech clients or in a hospitality-forward culture preferred.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and dashboards for audit tracking, labeling, and training resources
  • Ability to travel up to 40% required.
