Cook

Our client, is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the kitchen staff supporting the food preparation and service operations. The ideal candidate will have healthcare dietary and hospital experience, strong communication skills, a passion for food, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Pay Range: $21 per hour

Shift: Varies-but may require weekends

What's the Job?

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards with a high volume need.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery.

What's Needed?

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Validated knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
