Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Location: Lincoln Park, MI

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team in a food production environment. This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food packaging and production machinery to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable taking apart and reassembling equipment, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize food production equipment, packaging machinery, and surrounding work areas.

• Disassemble and reassemble machinery as needed to perform thorough cleaning.

• Follow established sanitation procedures and schedules to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

• Inspect equipment and production areas for cleanliness and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

• Assist production staff as needed to maintain a clean and efficient workflow.

• Maintain accurate cleaning logs and records according to company procedures.

• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with production machinery.

• Previous experience in food production or sanitation preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow detailed instructions.

• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
