2nd Shift Custodian

Full Time 1.0 Custodian, Quaboag Regional School District (2nd shift 2pm to 10pm)Reports to:Building Principal with daily assignments and directions issued by the Facilities Director/HeadCustodianPrimary Function:Performs daily general cleaning and maintenance of school building and groundsQualifications:-High school graduate or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED)-Valid Drivers License-Ability to climb stairs, stoop, bend and climb ladders; be able to lift 80 lbs-Experience in custodial cleaning in an institutional facility setting preferred Responsibilities:-Performs daily general cleaning and maintenance of school building and grounds per the schedule and standards provided through the Facilities Director/Head Custodian.-Maintains a safe, secure and energy-efficient building by locking/unlocking inside and outside doors, setting/resetting alarms, and turning on/off lights.-Sets up facilities for student assemblies, and extracurricular and community group activities.-Performs minor maintenance of equipment.-Notifies Facilities Director/Head Custodian if the inventory of supplies and/or equipment is in need reordering.-Expected to work overtime as required by the Building Principal/Facilities Director such as responding to alarm calls, for snow removal, and for extracurricular activities.-Performs any other duties as designated by the Building Principal/Facilities Director.Salary: In accordance with the Contract between the Quaboag Regional School Committee and Teamsters Local 170Closing Date for Applications: Open until filledStart Date: September 2, 2025 Apply to: Marc Astrella, Facilities Director 284 Old West Brookfield Rd.
