Looking for a Cook

Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual is a plus.
Have at least one (1) year experience in restaurant or institutional cooking/food preparation.
Understanding of title 22 regulations in respect to health care conditions, food preparation and food handling.
Must be able to lead and direct others effectively.
Must be able to create and stay within food allocated budget.
Must effectively be able to control inventory of food, supplies, and kitchen wares.
Posses a current Food Handlers Card as per county guidelines.
Familiar with preparing and accommodating physician prescribed, cultural, and religious diets.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Professional in appearance and conduct.
Be of good character and a continuing reputation of personal integrity.
Be in good health, and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days after employment.
Demonstrated freedom. From pulmonary tuberculosis within seven (7) days of employment and annually thereafter.
Has current first aid card upon hire and maintains current status throughout employment.
Must be criminally cleared by DOJ and FBI via the Live-Scan process prior to employment and be able to pass drug testing.
Must have dependable transportation and able to work varying hours as needed.
