We are a snack and wine bar located on Court Street in historic Cobble Hill. We are seeking part-time and full-time experienced servers. We desire servers who are dedicated to hospitality and guest satisfaction, highly organized, skilled in multi-tasking, and very efficient. We prefer candidates that are familiar with South Asian cuisine, being familiar with Indian street foods is a plus. Having experience as a barista is a plus. Wine and cocktail knowledge is a plus.
This space is a family-owned and operated restaurant by two sisters. They wanted a space to share their food with their neighborhood, and create a space where community thrives. We offer working at a space where creativity is embraced, differences are loved, and mentorship is offered. TERA MERA is a truly special place opened to feel like space anyone can come and relax with excellent service and food. A beautiful vintage antiqued interior, and a secluded back garden space there is a corner for everyone here. Joining us means you will working with a hardworking dedicated team. We host regular events with local musicians as well so being adaptable to support the needs of the business is a must.
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:
- Open availability, weekend availability is required
- 2 years Serving experience in NYC
- Knowledge of Square POS
- Ability to create positive guest experiences
- Strong work ethic
- Honest
- Organized and clean
- Knowledge of wines is a plus
- Barista experience is a plus
- Bartending is a plus
- Experience on the opening team of a restaurant is a plus
Compensation: Salary ($10.50) plus tips
