1. Patient Interaction and Customer Service:
-Must be bilingual- English and Spanish is a must.
-Greeting and welcoming patients warmly- checking them in for their appointments, and setting a welcoming tone for their visit.
-Handling Inquiries- manage phone calls, emails, and patient questions, providing information about treatments, appointments, and office policies.
-Assisting with Forms- Help patients fill out necessary intake and medical forms.
-Managing the Waiting Area- Ensuring the reception area is clean, organized, and comfortable for patients.

2. Appointment Coordination and Management
-Scheduling Appointments: A core responsibility is scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments to maximize the dental team's time and minimize patient waiting times.

3. Administrative and Office Management
-Patient Records Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including contact information, medical history, and treatment plans.
-Billing and Insurance Verification: handle patient billing inquiries, verify insurance information, process payments, and file insurance claims.
-Office Supplies and Correspondence: Ordering office supplies, sorting mail, and managing general office correspondence are also part of their administrative tasks.
-Maintaining Office Organization: Ensuring the reception area and office are tidy and presentable for a professional environment.
-General Office Duties: This can include photocopying, filing, faxing, and other essential administrative support functions.

4. Communication and Collaboration
-Liaison between Patients and Staff: Act as a communication bridge, conveying patient needs and concerns to the dental team.
-Interacting with Insurance Providers: communicate with insurance companies to verify coverage and handle claims.
-Working with Vendors: Communicate with dental supply vendors for ordering and other needs.
-Sending Reminders: Sending appointment reminders via phone calls, text or email.
-Managing Patient Flow: Guiding patients to the appropriate areas within the office and managing appointment transitions efficiently
