Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.00 Hourly
Description
Position Summary:
Clean air ducts for heating and cooling systems, providing basic maintenance, and performing inspections.
Required Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record, insurable by company insurance
Ability to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers
Possess excellent time-management and communication skills
Ability to lift, push or pull up to 100 lbs.
Ability to work outside in a wide range of temperatures
Willingness to further develop skills through training seminars and classes
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
Education and Experience:
- Minimum High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
- Previous HVAC experience
- Knowledge of duct cleaning practices
- Basic written and verbal English language communication skills
Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Demonstrate commitment to developing customer service skills
- Perform routine maintenance of HVAC equipment
- Identify potential problems affecting current or future performance
- Effectively communicate findings with customers
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle, report any mechanical issues
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools and safety equipment in company vehicle
- Perform duct cleanings at residential and commercial locations
- Travel to job sites within service area; work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated
- Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies
- Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts and additional services
- Other duties as assigned

- Maintain a regularly punctual attendance record, fill out daily timecard accurately
- Adhere to all company safety rules and regulations
- Accuracy of paperwork, labor hours and materials charged to customers
- Maximize number of sales leads, maintenance contracts and product sold
- Cleanliness and organization of company vehicle and job site (customer's homes)
- Regular use of personal protective equipment
- Come to work ready to work with proper tools and attire
- Obtain certifications to advance in career such as low voltage energy license.
- Effective communication with dispatchers
