Job Description

Your Role at Raising Canes: The Building Barista is a key part of creating an exceptional hospitality experience at our Restaurant Support Office. This role involves crafting seasonal and event-inspired beverage selections, managing lounge refreshment inventory, and fostering a welcoming, efficient, and upbeat environment.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of beverages and provide excellent customer service to all Crew and guests who visit the building lounges
  • Greet crew, take orders, and ensure requests are fulfilled in a friendly and professional manner
  • Clean and maintain all equipment, including the coffee machine, grinder, aerators, refrigerator, and other tools used to make coffee and other drinks
  • Maintain the coffee station and counters, restock supplies, and remove trash
  • Order supplies as necessary and ensure that inventory levels are maintained
  • Assist with beverage services at office events and meetings
  • Support the Office Services team with additional tasks

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of barista experience
  • Valid ServSafe Food Handler certification
  • Ability to work out of our Plano, TX Support Office, 9:30 AM 6:30 PM, with flexibility to cover other shifts as needed
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong knowledge of different types of coffee beans and espresso beverage options
  • Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
