Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part-time Cage Cashier to join our team at Orange City Poker Room in Orange City, Florida. As Cage Cashier, you will handle a large amount of currency, cash checks, and redeem tickets, vouchers, and chips for guests.

This is a Day shift position ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What will you do?

• Handle large sums of money, process Cash Advance transactions
• Maintain an accurate count of banks assigned to you
• Perform regular cash exchanges with Main Bankers
• Issue and redeem chips: process chip fills and tray refills
• Follow all Company and State policies and procedures
• Give Excellent Customer Service

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Preferred: Six months of cash-handling experience, including managing large amounts of money
• Excellent math skills, including addition and subtraction
• Basic computer skills required
• Must be able to obtain a pari-mutuel license (full life background check) for the State of Florida
• A fee is required for applicants applying for a pari-mutuel license
• No high school diploma or GED is necessary
• Open availability is a must

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per shift
• No restrictions on bending or lifting
