AC Barbeque is a new BBQ lifestyle brand created by beloved comedians and grilling enthusiasts, Anthony Anderson and Cedric The Entertainer. Founded on the principles of Black excellence, family tradition, and bringing people together, AC Barbeque aims to provide the tools, flavor, and community thatll take grilling to the next level with food rooted in culture and fueled by community. When you need to up your BBQ game, just look to the AC Flame. AC BBQ is located in the Westfield Century City Mall on the terrace dining level.
POSITION:
At AC Barbeque, we dont just serve foodwe serve an experience. The purpose of this position is to ensure all guests feel welcome and have a positive first impression of the brand and the restaurant. The Cashier is responsible for Welcoming all guests to the restaurant, helping them navigate the menu, and answering any initial questions they may have and taking orders on the POS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcome guests with a warm and energetic greeting, let them know where to find the menu, and offer to answer any questions they may have in order to create a great first impression.
Interact with a smile and in a friendly, approachable manner so that guests feel comfortable to ask questions.
Learn about the menu and the sauces in order to answer guests questions accurately and be able to make a recommendation of your own favorites or frequently ordered items.
Take orders on the POS.
Package orders to go.
General cleaning of work space.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability and willingness to smile and interact in a genuinely energetic and warm manner towards guests and co-workers.
Ability to communicate in English to guests and respond to their questions.
Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced environment.
Previous experience in this field is preferred.
