Visible to our guests, our pasta making station gives guests a closer look at the handcrafted commitment to quality. Blending old-school Italian flavors with new-school techniques, Serena Pastificio focuses on the freshest ingredients and simple recipes to offer flavorful dishes rooted in tradition. The same care and attention put into each recipe is also used in crafting seasonal Italian cocktails and a carefully curated wine list to be enjoyed on its own or expertly paired with a dish.
Restaurant Manager
We are seeking a passionate and driven Restaurant Manager with a strong background in bar and beverage management to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, builds strong, inspired teams, and thrives in a fast-paced fine dining environment. A deep understanding of beverage operations, COGS, wine, and high-volume service is essential. You will play a key role in shaping the guest experience, developing your team, and helping grow our business, particularly in private event execution and beverage program development.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with company programs and processes for Restaurant operations.
Lead daily front-of-house operations with a focus on bar and beverage excellence
Oversee bar inventory, ordering, cost controls, and vendor relationships
Manage and develop beverage program including craft cocktails, seasonal features, and Italian wine list
Ensure accurate and efficient execution of COGS and inventory tracking procedures
Deliver and maintain high standards of guest service through hands-on floor management
Train, coach, and mentor front-of-house and bar teams to uphold culture, service standards, and hospitality
Foster a collaborative, high-performance work culture rooted in accountability, support, and respect
Participate in management meetings, contribute to strategy, and drive continuous improvement
Oversee guest relations, resolve guest issues, recognize staff for outstanding service delivery, and assist Restaurant GM in pre-shift meetings to maintain guest focus at all times.
Manage site level hiring activities for team members; identify talent and maximize engagement/retention. Assist with training, coaching, and overall direction to improve team and individual development.
Perform daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties with comprehensive, detailed approach to safety, building maintenance, repairs, and sanitation/cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred, preferably in Business Administration or Hospitality Management.
- 3 years of experience in large, complex restaurant operation with strong focus on high volume hospitality.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, solid executive presence, self-confidence, and professional maturity.
- Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic.
- Position will require frequent standing, bending/kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
