JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure propercoverage

Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming,and cleaning

Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout theshift

Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness and inspects them to verify brand standards are being met.

Coach, counsel, and provide corrective action to housekeeping associates on performance not meeting expectations and discrepancies found in rooms

Notifies GMand/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairsnecessaryin rooms or on property

Interviews, hires, develops, and disciplines directemployees

Perform property walk and reportidentifieddeficiencies

Participates in scheduling employees to business demands and tracking employee time andattendance

Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guestservice, operational needs, and financialobjectivesare met

Manages Housekeeping inventory, ensuring that team has dedicated tools, supplies, and resources to complete assigned tasks and work.

Other duties asassigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma/GED. Post high school education preferred

Minimum of 2 years inhousekeeping leadership experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Basic mathskills

HMSand/or experience using a property management system (PMS)

Microsoft Office experience

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and inwriting

Strong leadershipskills

Ability to exceed expectations of guests and teammembers

Excellent time managementskills
