Grill Cook Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Grill Cook to prepare basic grilled items using standard equipment such as a flat-top grill. The ideal candidate will assemble and serve meals to students in a friendly and professional manner while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the grill station. You will be responsible for monitoring food temperatures and ensuring items are cooked to safety standards, following food safety, sanitation, and university dining guidelines. Responsibilities Prepare basic grilled items using standard equipment like flat-top grills. Assemble and serve meals to students with professionalism and friendliness. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station. Monitor food temperatures to ensure safety standards are met. Follow food safety, sanitation, and university dining guidelines diligently. Essential Skills Experience in food service or grill cooking is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Basic understanding of food safety and handling procedures. Strong communication and time management skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in line cooking, food preparation, and food production. Proficiency in customer service and food prep. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
