Your primary responsibility is to ensure that each guest receives top-notch service while also leading your team of Front Desk Clerks to maintain seamless coverage. Apply today! What you will do as a Lead Front Desk Clerk: Effectively schedules Front Desk Clerks when call outs occur to ensure sufficient front desk coverage at all times. Ensures Front Desk Clerks maintain complete knowledge of and follow all company and departmental policies and procedures. Regularly ensures that all systems are in working order and maintains complete knowledge of all system applications (i.e. P.M.S., Electronic Keys, Movie System, Telephone System). Ensures all areas are working properly in the absence of other Hotel Supervisors. Interacts with guests effectively answering questions, solving problems, and handling complaints. Has a close working relationship with all other hotel functions: PBX/Reservations, Housekeeping, Front Services, Guest Services, to ensure proper interaction of each area, lending itself to a complete guest package. Pre-blocks bus groups and other groups with priority. Ensures Housekeeping receives rooming lists for VIP's, Entertainment, and Bus Groups on day of arrival. Ensures Housekeeping is aware of all No Show rooms and Casino Sellout rooms prior to 8am. Assists Front Desk Supervisors with daily duties or tasks. Has complete knowledge of the night audit process and covers a minimum of 2 shifts per week. Work Experience To be successful as a Lead Front Desk Clerk, you'll need: The ability to work a flexible schedule with minimal conflicts. To possess a high school diploma or GED Prior experience in a leadership role. To have a minimum of 1 year Hotel front desk experience required. To be able to type at least 40 wpm. Prior computer experience. To possess excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and life up to 35 lbs.
