Job Details We are hiring a Lead Prep / Production Cook.Ideally you are bilingual in both English and Spanish, or can effectively communicate in both languages. A well-rounded culinary background with hot line, prep, and bread baking / pastry production experience will be a an asset to this role, and leadership experience or an interest in leadership also a plus; strong organizational skills, product knowledge, desire to go to the farmers market, an appreciation and aptitude for detail, passion for ingredients, and a desire to be part of a great team are a must.
The prep kitchen produces all our in house sourdough, pastry, and processes a huge amount of produce and savory components to support our busy daytime and dinner services. We are looking for a prep kitchen lead to work within the prep department and help manage and organize work flow, as well as streamline communication between the hot line and prep side. We are a busy neighborhood restaurant with two head Chefs, with whom youd work closely to support. Its a fast paced environment with an emphasis on communication, quality, collaboration, creativity and excellence. Schedule: Friday - Tuesday 8AM - 4:30PM (off Wednesday & Thursday)
Pay: Hourly plus Tips
