Job DetailsHOST FOR WINTER SEASON IN MICHELIN RECOMMENDED RESTAURANT
Sweet Basil is seeking passionate and talented team members to join our Host team for the winter season. Previous host, lead, or customer service experience in a fine dining or refined high-volume restaurant is required. Communication, hospitality mindset, excellence reflex, and energetic personality are key skills and attributes for this position. In this fine mountain dining establishment, our host must interact with restaurant guests, staff members, and management in a professional and collaborative manner to create an exemplary and safe dining experience. Most important for this position is a friendly demeanor, ability to remain composed and organized under pressure, and an enthusiasm to learn and grow. We are looking for smart, energetic individuals seeking to grow their careers in hospitality.
Other position requirements include open availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to stand, walk and move during the entire shift including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50lbs. 3 shift per week minimum commitment required.
Compensation and Benefit Details
- Compensation: Hourly base rate with shared tip pool (individual tip pool value based on performance/tenure)
- Whole House Tip Share Model (we share tips among all hourly employees!)
- Estimated hourly wage $20-$35+ per hour, dependent on shift and daily gratuity income
