Bartender/Server - Flagler Steakhouse

Job Summary:
The Bartender/Server at The Breakers Palm Beach is responsible for welcoming guests with energy and enthusiasm while providing top-notch service by preparing and serving beverages in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with guests in order to provide a personalized, memorable bar experience. In addition, the bartender/server will be responsible for maintaining organizational and cleanliness standards for the bar and work area, as well as ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of bartending and serving experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must have knowledge of different types of alcohol and be able to make various classic and modern cocktails
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time

- Prepare and serve beverages in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
- Read guests' individual needs, connect and converse with guests to provide personalized service and create a memorable bar experience
- Maintain organization and impeccable cleanliness of the bar and work area
- Adhere to food safety standards
- Open bar and set up for service
- Take drink and food orders
- Prepare all beverage orders according to The Breakers standards
- Ring all orders on the point-of-sale system
- Handle payment accurately
- Maintain responsibility for the restaurant bank including handling cash sales, employee tip out, and bank drop
