Lead Food Service Worker/Cook

The Lead Food Service Worker/Cook 1) prepares and serves meals to children aged 1 to 14 years of age and to staff; 2) cleans and maintains all kitchen and food facilities and equipment in order to ensure proper sanitation and esthetic value; 3) maintains accurate product inventory, orders food for delivery, and manages direct purchase of additional weekly groceries and supplies; 4) adheres to health department standards and licensing regulations; 5) collaborates with childcare center and school staff to create and maintain excellent menus, learning environments, and practices; 6) participates in building a community of Salish speakers and supports the use of Salish at school and in the community.
