Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, dynamic professional Janitor to join our team! The Janitor will clean common areas and offices as well as maintain fixtures, equipment and grounds location. Pay: $14.00/hour
Job Type: Part-Time
Essential Duties and Tasks:
- Provides maintenance and custodial services for the buildings, equipment, grounds and fixtures.
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge of equipment including the location of switches, controls and valves.
- Maintains floor-care and instructions in areas as assigned.
- Works on rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and custodial work; previous experience a plus.
- Ability to read and write.
- Must be able to perform all janitorial tasks on a daily basis.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more occasionally.
- Ability to follow instructions, including safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit or stand for an extended period of time
